With more than 8 million habitants, Bogotá has almost everything you could want to find in a great metropolis. According to Lonely Planet, Colombia is the 2nd best country to visit in 2017 and, additionally, according to Forbes, Bogotá is one of the Top Destinations to visit in 2017. The city offers many types of accommodation places.

Delegates are responsible for their accommodation arrangements and are kindly requested to book by themselves via the indicated websites or other sources of preferred use. For sustainability and convenience reasons we recommend you staying at the university residencies or at hotels within walking distance.

University residencies (brand new)

(...and almost exclusive for Conference participants)

The University has a brand new tower of student and visitor residences that will be available for the delegates. The complex was inaugurated in January 2017 and has capacity to accommodate more than 600 people. By the dates of the Conference the majority of students will be on summer break, so the complex will be available almost exclusively for the Conference participants. Shared spaces such as the gym, entertaining and studying rooms will be available for the Conference delegates. Other shared spaces that the tower offers will also be available for Conference events.

Accommodation in the residencies can be made in suite-like, single-room, or double-room apartments.

Suites (€82 one person - €98 two persons, per night)

The tower has 16 suites in the top floors. Each suite has 28m² with an exclusive view to the city or to the mountains. Kitchen, sofa, Wi-Fi, TV, daily cleaning service, linens, and breakfast included.

Single apartments (€42 one person, per night)

Single apartments have 21m². Same services as the suite included (except for the Sofa): Kitchen, Wi-Fi, TV, daily cleaning, linens, and breakfast included.

Double apartments (€35 per person, per night)

Double apartments have 27m². Rooms are similar to the ones at single apartments. Residents share the bathroom and the kitchen. Same services as the single apartment included.

The Hotel de la Opera is located in La Candelaria, next to the Cristobal Colon Theater, in front of "Palacio San Carlos", currently headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, one block from Bolivar Square and a fifteen minutes walk to the funicular for Monserrate hill.

Five star hotel located in the financial center and very close to the historical center of Bogota and El Dorado International Airport. It is the only hotel facility in the country with a heliport certified by the Civil Aeronautics.
